Next to each description of the lots in the catalog is an indicative estimate for potential buyers. In any case, all the lots, depending on the interest of the market, can reach both higher and lower prices than the estimated values ​​indicated. Estimates printed on the auction catalog may be subject to review and do not include the buying commission and VAT.



The reserve price corresponds to the minimum confidential price agreed between Efira auction house and the seller below which the lot will not be sold. The lots offered without reserve are awarded to the highest bidder regardless of the published estimates.



Each auction is preceded by an exhibition open to the public free of charge, whose times are indicated in the first pages of this catalog. The purpose of the exhibition is to allow all buyers to carry out an appropriate examination of the lots offered for sale and to verify all the qualities, such as, for example, authenticity, state of preservation, material, origin, etc.



The properties are sold in their current state. We therefore advise potential buyers to ensure the state of conservation and the nature of the lots by viewing them before the sale. The experts of Efira auction house will be happy to provide, upon request, informative reports on the conservation status of the lots for sale.

The descriptions on the catalogs represent only the opinion of our Experts and may be subject to possible revisions that will in any case be communicated to the public during the Auction.



Participation in the Auction can take place through presence in the room or through written offers and telephone offers that Efira auction house will be happy to perform in the name and on behalf of potential buyers. Please note that the service is free and therefore no responsibility can be charged to Efira auction house that will not be responsible for offers inadvertently not executed or for errors related to the execution of the same. New buyers must provide appropriate bank references by letter of presentation of their bank addressed to Efira auction house, via di Brava 15, 00163 Rome.



For participation in the room, potential buyers must register and collect the appropriate participation number by completing the appropriate Auction Participation Form providing a valid identity document and tax code. All sold lots will be invoiced to the name and address issued at the time of assigning the participation number and cannot be transferred to other names and addresses. If a potential buyer wants to participate in the name and on behalf of third parties, he must inform the management of Efira auction house before the Auction.

For participation through written and telephone offers, potential buyers must complete the appropriate Offer Form published in this catalog at least 7 hours before the start of the auction.

The offers must be in euros and are net of auction fees and tax charges established by the laws in force.

Written Offers will be executed on behalf of the bidder at the minimum possible price considering the reserve price and other offers. Written Offers made on unqualified lots without a higher offer will be awarded at around 50% of the minimum estimate or at the figure corresponding to the offer, even if less than 50% of the minimum estimate.

The Telephone Offers will be organized by Efira auction house within the limits of line availability and exclusively for lots with a maximum estimate of at least 500 euros. Telephone connections during the Auction can be registered.

Potential buyers connected by telephone consent to the recording of their conversations.

The hammer blow indicates the award of the lot and at that moment the buyer assumes full responsibility for the lot. In addition to the adjudication price, the buyer must pay Efira auction house the auction fees and the fiscal charges provided for by the laws in force.



Buyers must pay the lots within 10 working days from the auction date via:

A) Cash for an amount less than € 3,000.00

B) Italian bank draft payable to Efira gallery srls, subject to actual collection of the amount and subject to prior verification with the issuing institution.

C) Bank transfer to Ad Efira gallery srls

D) debit your credit / debit card except American Express with a 3% foreign credit card mark on the total amount

Efira auction house has the possibility, subject to agreement with the seller, to offer buyers that deems reliable the ability to pay the lots purchased at extended intervals. Potential buyers who wish to access a deferred payment must contact Efira's auction house management before the sale.



Buyers must collect the lots within 15 working days from the auction date. After this deadline, Efira auction house will no longer be held in custody nor will it be liable for any damage that may occur to the lots that may be transferred to a special warehouse. Efira auction house will charge the buyer with the insurance and storage costs according to the table available to customers at the venue. Upon collection of the lot, the buyer must provide Efira with an auction document. In the event that the buyer instructs a third person to collect the lots already paid, the latter must have a written proxy issued by the purchaser and a photocopy of the purchaser's identity document. The lots will be delivered to the buyer or to the person delegated only after payment has been made.

In case of delayed collection of the purchased lots, the auction house reserves the right to charge the storage costs (for month or part of a month), listed below for indicative purposes:

€ 100 + VAT for furniture

€ 50 + VAT for paintings

€ 25 + VAT for art objects



The staff of Efira auction house will be happy to take care of shipping the purchased lots following the instructions communicated in writing by the buyers and after they have made the entire payment. The shipment will be at the risk and expense of the purchaser who must relieve Efira in writing of the auction house from any responsibility in this regard. Our staff is also available for evaluations and advice on all shipping methods and batch insurance.



The Legislative Decree n. 42 of 22 January 2004 regulates the export of Cultural Heritage outside the territory of the Italian Republic. The EEC Regulation n. 3911/92 of 9 December 1992, as amended by EEC Regulation n. 2469/96 of December 16th 1996 and by EEC Regulation n. 974/01 of May 14, 2001, instead regulates the export of Cultural Heritage outside the European Union.

To export Cultural Heritage out of Italy for more than 50 years, an Export License is required which the buyer is required to procure personally. Efira auction house is not responsible for such permits, nor can it guarantee their release. Efira auction house, at the request of the buyer, can provide for the completion of the procedures for the granting of export licenses according to the following tariff:

- € 250.00 + VAT per single lot or for the first of a case

- € 100.00 + VAT for the other lots belonging to the same file

The reimbursement includes the compilation of the files, the stamps and the printing of the color photographs.

Failure to grant the aforementioned authorizations cannot justify the annulment of the purchase or non-payment, unless otherwise agreed before the Auction with Efira auction house.

In reference to the rules contained in the art. 8, paragraph 1, letter B, of Presidential Decree 633/72, we inform our kind buyers that, in the event that they wish to transport the goods out of the EU territory and obtain VAT refunds, it is necessary to comply with the following procedures:

- complete customs procedures and transport outside the U.E. within 3 months from the invoice date.

- send within the same deadline the original customs bill or equivalent document directly to Efira auction house.



With Legislative Decree n. 118 of 13/2/2006 is in force since 9 April 2006 in Italy the "Follow-up Right" (Droit de Suite), that is the author's right (living or deceased for less than 70 years) of works of figurative arts and manuscripts to receive a percentage of the sale price of the originals of their works on the occasion of sales subsequent to the first. This right will be charged to the Seller and will be calculated on the auction price equal to or greater than 3,000.00 euros.

However, this right may not exceed 12,500.00 euros for each lot. The amount of the right to be paid is determined as follows:

- 4% for the part of the sale price up to 50,000 euros

- 3% for the part of the sale price between 50,000.01 and 200,000 euros

- 1% for the portion of the sale price between 200,000.01 and 350,000 euros

- 0.50% for the part of the sale price between € 350,000.01 and € 500,000

- 0.25% for the part of the sale price over € 500,000

The resale right charged to the Seller will be paid by the Efira auction house to SIAE according to what established by law.



All the lots containing electrical components are offered for sale as non-functioning and to be completely revised. Efira auction house is exempt from any liability to anyone for improper use of the lots sold or for non-compliance with the warnings.

We remind the need, before using the lots, to have the correct operation of all the electrical parts checked by expert and trusted buyers.

The word "... years ..." or the date shown in the lot description indicates the production start period of the lot in question, unless otherwise specified.

The descriptive images in the catalog and on the website may not faithfully represent the lots offered in the auction. The Auction House always recommends direct viewing of the works before bidding.

If it is not possible to view the lots in person, a condition report can be requested to receive additional and detailed images of the objects.
